The Role:

As the Founding AI Engineer, you will be a key player in establishing our AI strategy and technical direction. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale AI solutions from the ground up, working closely with our leadership team to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead AI Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI models and solutions using the Azure Stack.

– Big Data Expertise: Utilize Big Data technologies to manage, process, and analyze vast amounts of data, driving actionable insights.

– Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC practices to ensure a robust, scalable, and maintainable environment.

– Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products and services.

– Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously improving our AI capabilities and exploring new technologies.

Qualifications:

– Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong background in Azure cloud services.

– Technical Skills: Proficiency in Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark), AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

– Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading AI projects and mentoring junior engineers.

– Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

– Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Techstack:

– Cloud Platform:

  – Azure: Extensive experience with Azure services, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Databricks, and Azure DevOps.

  – Data Processing: Proficient in Apache Spark / Hadoop, and Azure Data Factory.

  – Data Storage: Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Cosmos DB, and SQL Data Warehouse.

– Programming Languages & Frameworks:

  – Python: Strong coding skills for AI/ML model development and data processing. Knowledge of FastAPI is a plus and LLMOPS is a plus.

  – React & Next.js: Knowledge of those is a plus.

– CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)  and DevOps:

  – Docker: Containerization and orchestration of AI applications. Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus

  – Git: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.

  – GitHub/GitLab/AzureDevOps: Experience with managing code repositories and CI/CD workflows.

  – Terraform / Ansible /Pulumi : For managing infrastructure on Azure.
